At V1 Kids, our heart is that every child would experience the love and joy of Jesus, grounded in God's word. Each week, kids step into a safe, fun, and engaging environment where they can worship, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of God. Everything we do is designed to meet children right where they are at and help them take their next step in faith.

We believe we're not just shaping kids. We're shaping the leaders and dreamers of tomorrow. Our mission is to teach kids to share their story and take ownership of their faith.
We want them to know God has given them specific talents, passions, and tools that make them unique, and that they can put these gifts into action and positively influence the world around them.
Above all else we want kids to know that Jesus loves them unconditionally and they can share that unconditional love with others.

Go to the First Time Family table at our Kid's check-in area in the sanctuary. There you'll fill out our first time form and receive a name tag for your child from one of our volunteers.
Walk your child to their classroom & give them a hug before they join the fun. Enjoy our worship service knowing your kids are in great hands!
After the service head back and use the pick-up sticker you will receive at check-in for pick-up. See you again next week!

FAQ

What ages can attend V1 Kids?
We welcome kids ages 6 months to 11 years old with age specific classrooms.
In our preschool building we typically have 4 classrooms available: a 6 mos.-1 year old class, a 2 year old class, a 3 year old class, and a 4-5 year old class.
We currently have an elementary class for kids in Kindergarten to 5th Grade that meets in the Chapel. 
What safety precautions are in place for your Kids Team?
Safety is one of our top priorities at VV First! All of our Kids Team employees and volunteers must complete a very thorough process that ensures the safety of every single child in our Kids Ministry.
They must complete the following: Volunteer Application (which includes a background check, references check, and an agreement of beliefs), Mandated Reporter Training, Live Scan, and Waivers.
How does check-in work?
Our check-in system is quick & simple! Families simply visit our tablets set up in our church lobby where there are 2 options that families can use to check-in:
they can type in the child's name or legal guardian's phone number on the tablet OR by request, we offer parents a mobile pass that they can use by showing their pass to the tablet camera. Tap "Check-in" on the screen and then wait for their name tag & parent label to print out! Stick the child's name tag on them and keep the parent label in order to check-out your child. That's it! Families will then head to the child's age appropriate room.

Our first-time families can visit our "New Family Check-in Table" where they will be helped by one of our Kids Team members. That's it! They will guide & serve our new families from there.

How does check-out work?
Parents and guardians will head to their child's classroom with their check-out label where they will exchange their label for their child.
What if my child needs me during service?
We will text the number given to us at registration when needed. We encourage parents to leave their phone on vibrate so that they can be notified right away.
Will the Kids Team change my child's diaper?
We do not change any child's diaper. We will text their parent whenever they need a change. 
Is there a space for parents & their infants?
We offer a Family Room that is across the lobby from the Main Sanctuary. In this room parents can enjoy:  a nursing room, changing tables, toys, comfy places to sit, and the live stream of the service.
